Staff shuttles
Morning and evening runs between stations, car parks and workplaces, including early and late shift patterns.
Our Services
Scheduled and recurring shuttles for staff, hotel guests, conferences and events, with vehicles allocated to match passenger numbers on each route.

Service Overview
A shuttle is different from a one-off transfer: the same vehicle, or several, runs a route repeatedly to a timetable, picking people up and dropping them off as it goes. Covent Group Travel plans shuttle services for employers, hotels, venues and event organisers across London.
You tell us where people need to go, when, and roughly how many will travel on each run. The team then suggests a timetable, the number and size of vehicles, and a quote. Shuttles can run for a single day, a multi-day event or on a recurring basis.
SHUTTLE PLANNING
Shuttles make sense whenever a predictable flow of people needs to travel between the same points. An employer might need staff carried from a railway station to a site that public transport serves poorly. A hotel might want guests taken to and from an exhibition centre every half hour. A festival or conference organiser may need to move hundreds of attendees from car parks and hotels to the main entrance.
Rather than booking dozens of separate journeys, a shuttle combines them into one plan. Vehicle sizes can change through the day too – a coach at peak arrival times and a minibus during quieter hours – so capacity follows demand.

SHUTTLE TYPES
Most of our shuttle enquiries fit one of the following patterns, and many combine two or more.
Morning and evening runs between stations, car parks and workplaces, including early and late shift patterns.
Regular loops between a hotel and an airport, a venue or a business district.
Moving audiences between transport hubs, overflow parking and the event site at arrival and departure peaks.
Delegate loops between partner accommodation and venues such as ExCeL London or Olympia.
Collecting passengers from several agreed stops along a route and taking them to one destination.
Fixed departure times published to passengers in advance, run for a day or a season.
VEHICLE ALLOCATION
Choosing shuttle vehicles is a balance between capacity and frequency. Two 16-seater minibuses running alternately can give a shorter wait than one larger coach, while a 37-seat coach clears a crowd after a conference session more quickly.
For low-volume runs, such as a few senior staff each morning, the V-Class is a practical option. Mid-sized flows suit the 24-seater midi coach, and the 32-seat coach covers busier routes. Share your expected numbers per run and the team will propose an allocation, which can be adjusted once you see how many people actually travel.

SHUTTLE USERS
Shuttle enquiries usually come from someone responsible for getting a large number of people to a place on time. Typical examples include:
Warehouses, studios, data centres and offices where staff need a link from the nearest station.
Properties offering guests a regular link to a venue or transport hub during a busy period.
Teams running multi-day shows that need delegates moved between hotels and halls.
Organisers of sports, music and private events managing crowds arriving from several directions.
Institutions linking campuses, halls or open-day visitors with stations.
ADVANTAGES
A well-planned shuttle takes pressure off both the organiser and the passengers.
Passengers know when the next departure is, reducing crowding and queries.
Vehicle sizes can be scaled up for peaks and down for quiet periods.
Bringing people in together can ease pressure on limited parking at a venue or workplace.
Regular shuttles can be set up once and reviewed, rather than booked journey by journey.
SETTING UP A SHUTTLE
Shuttles involve more variables than a single transfer, so we recommend emailing info@coventgroupttravel.co.uk or using the contact page with as much detail as you have. You can also start with the enquiry form or call +44 7494 643115.
The team will come back with a suggested timetable, vehicle plan and quote.

ROUTES & LOCATIONS
Shuttle routes often connect major transport hubs with venues and workplaces. Examples include links from Stratford station to sites in Stratford and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, loops between Canary Wharf hotels and ExCeL London, event runs around Wembley and Greenwich, and staff services across East London from our home area of Leyton.
Hotel and conference shuttles can also include airports, particularly London City and Heathrow. Routes elsewhere in London, such as Hammersmith near Olympia or Croydon, can be planned on request.

OPERATIONAL DETAILS
Stops: each stop should be somewhere a vehicle of the chosen size can pull in safely. The team may suggest alternatives where kerbside stopping is restricted, such as on red routes.
Frequency: how often a vehicle can return to the same stop depends on the route length and traffic. The team will advise a realistic interval rather than promise a fixed one.
Luggage: hotel and airport shuttles may carry cases, which reduces the seats available. Tell us if passengers will be travelling with bags.
Recurring requests: for long-running shuttles, passenger numbers can be reviewed periodically and the vehicle plan adjusted.
