Gatwick is roughly 28 miles south of central London. The airport is served by a spur from the M23, and the usual road routes into London either follow the M23 and A23 north through Croydon and Brixton, or join the M25 to reach other parts of London and the surrounding counties. For East London and Docklands, the route may use the M25 and the Dartford Crossing or approach via south-east London, depending on traffic.
Journey times are traffic dependent and can vary widely, particularly through south London at peak times. Typically, early-morning and late-evening runs are more predictable than weekday rush hours. We do not guarantee journey times, but the team will suggest a realistic collection time for departures.
